KAN Property launches first community mall

KAN PROPERTY announced its first neighbourhood mall on Ram-Indra Road at a cost of Bt200 million to cash in on the urban-rail system’s new Pink Line.
Tatchai Silphiphat, managing director of the new property firm, said the community mall, named “ease park”, is located only 100 metres from the Skytrain line.
Construction is 90 per cent complete with the soft opening set for December.

The three-storey building with an industrial design is located on 3.5 rai (5,600 square metres) of land owned by the family on Kilometre 4.5 of Ram-Indra Road.
With total space of 7,000sqm, it is expected to provide Bt70 million in rental income next year.
Tatchai graduated in architecture from Kasetsart University and got his Master of Busines Administration degree from the University of Akron in the US state of Ohio.
He spent almost six years working at Sansiri Co on the marketing of high-rises and condominiums.

“I personally love to go and do business and leisure activities, including dining out and shopping, at community malls rather than large shopping centres.
“For me, going to a community mall is quite convenient, especially for driving a short distance from home as well as for parking.
“A community mall can be a shopping venue that you can visit more than once a week or usually three to four times a week and do all daily activities,” he said.
“The Ram-Indra Road Km 4.5 area has high potential, as it still lacks community and neighbourhood malls.
“Each day, there are more than 250,000 vehicles passing our mall, which is close to the main road in the area,” he said.

KAN Property’s future plans focus on residential projects – detached houses, townhouses and condominiums.
“We will start next year with the development of a townhouse project, as it does not need much investment. It will be launched in the third quarter of next year.
“Two new projects comprising detached houses and townhouses will be launched in 2018.”
